Can you show me how
I can’t believe I’m here
In the still of raging fears
I want to figure out why I’m here
To stop the pacing now
How can I pray
If I don’t know how to pray
How can I live
If I don’t know how
What Can I say
IF I don’t know what to say
Can you show me now
Would it be the same
If I followed you home
I want to listen now, to hear your voice
And to put these doubts aside
Where can I go
If You don’t take me there with You
How can I hide
If You’ll find me there
What can I do
But to follow after You
Will you show me somehow
Take me from between where I am
Take me from between where I am
Words and music by Jon Ho. copyright 2003
I wrote this after spending some time thinking and praying about my life because I was feeling that I was at this point where I didn't really know where my purpose was anymore. Finally, it was amazing how this song came to me as a prayer to ask God to take me away from where I was stuck in between something I needed to do and where God was taking me. Ultimately, this song can be taken in different ways I guess and it can be said how we have people in our lives that lift us up too and take us away from the between stages and spur us onwards.
Jon's Prose and Poetics
Welcome to my Page of Written Prose and Poetics. A lot of them probably don't rhyme or anything but I just kinda wrote them thinking of a song. Hopefully, these will somehow inspire you to keep hoping, and keep believing. I might add some other stuff not written by myself but perhaps have had great meaning and inspiration to me in times of joy and sorrow. All writings are copyrighted by Jon Ho 2001-2007
