Cry
I don’t know if you can hear me now
I don’t know if you can hear the cries, the ones I cry at night
I don’t know if this candle will burn
I don’t know if this wick will last through the night
But I hope that someone out there’s listening
Still filling out the list of dreams I have.
If the sun could rise before the night could have its way
(Then I), I could let my tears of joy run down my face
If my prayers could make the night just go away
For a moment, I could see, I could see
I could know a better day
Children playing in the streets,
People laughing in the park , a distant dream
Broken park swings are swaying in the wind
Silent screams waiting to be let out at your sin.

Jon's Prose and Poetics
Welcome to my Page of Written Prose and Poetics. A lot of them probably don't rhyme or anything but I just kinda wrote them thinking of a song. Hopefully, these will somehow inspire you to keep hoping, and keep believing. I might add some other stuff not written by myself but perhaps have had great meaning and inspiration to me in times of joy and sorrow. All writings are copyrighted by Jon Ho 2001-2007
