December 16
Its December sixteenth,
No one knows how I got this far
Pretending to please you
Wishing some things could go back to the start
But how could I even know
Everything’s got to play its part
Life’s got no rewind button
Play is stuck so lets see whats next
*So long, farewell, it’s goodbye to the years
That stay with me/ hidden in the tears
Hello, I say, to these coming years
This might be the start
why You’ve brought me this far.
So little words now,
Nothing seems to make sense in my life
Wanting to please You
Only wanting to live my part.
More than a name today
Living this life for more than me.
More than a feeling now
This is where You take my hand.
Written on the anniversary of my 25th year of existence, wondering if my life has made a difference.
Jon's Prose and Poetics
Welcome to my Page of Written Prose and Poetics. A lot of them probably don't rhyme or anything but I just kinda wrote them thinking of a song. Hopefully, these will somehow inspire you to keep hoping, and keep believing. I might add some other stuff not written by myself but perhaps have had great meaning and inspiration to me in times of joy and sorrow. All writings are copyrighted by Jon Ho 2001-2007
